"KURSA" is fish processing plant, which was established n 1992, appears to be the oldest among other fish processing enterprises, as its roots stretch as far as the year 1946, when the “Liepaja Marine and Freshwater Fishing Artel” was founded. It was two years later, that the Artel was transformed into the Collective Fish Farm “Bolshevik”. Nowadays "KURSA" is one of the biggest fish processing companies in the Baltic States, which is manufacturing a vast assortment of canned fish from ocean, sea, lake and river fish.
