By the end of year 2013, there were 37 enterprises possessing status of Liepaja Special Economic Zone Company. In 2013, status of Liepaja Special Economic Zone commercial company was granted to the „Baltic Biofuel Company” Ltd., which specialisation is building warehouses for biofuel pellets and pellets storage, and “LAUMA FABRICS” Ltd. which specialisation is material producing and selling for woman underwear sewing, manufacturing and selling of medical production, manufacturing and selling corsets.
