Due to the favorable location of the industrial areas in the neigborhood of the Port of Liepaja, it is possible keep logistics costs low enough to provide convenient export routes for the manufactured goods to both, the European Union and to the Commonwealth of Independent States. Last, but not least, the manufacturers highly appreciate the direct and indirect tax incentives, provided by the Liepaja Special Economic Zone.
