The new version of the Port of Liepaja Regulations comes into force

On August 27, 2024, the Port of Liepaja Regulations entered into force in a new version. The new version of the regulations specifies the duties, functions, competence, responsibility and action plan of the Harbor Master of the Port of Liepaja in case of marine accidents, the regulation on berthing vessels in the port, as well as operations alongside the berths have been updated.

As stated by Gints Ažēns, Harbor Master of the Port of Liepaja, the main emphasis of the new version of the regulations is to further ensure safety of navigation.
