As part of the continued development of the Liepaja Industrial Park on the site of the former Liepajas Metalurgs steelworks, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (Liepaja SEZ) Authority has announced a repeated auction for the property located at 1 Naglu Street within the Liepaja Industrial Park.

“NorSAF”, an oil and chemical product storage and transshipment terminal planning to build Northern Europe’s largest sustainable aviation fuel (SAF and eSAF) production plant in the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (LSEZ), has signed a perpetual licensing agreement with U.S.-based engineering company KBR for the implementation of the PureSAF® technology.

Due to changes in the amount of available EU Structural Funds financing, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Authority has decided to terminate the previously announced procurement procedure for the reconstruction of Port Berth No. 46 to prepare updated technical specifications and launch a new procurement procedure this week.
