Under the Unified Industry Brand VIA LATVIA, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone Authority Strengthens Existing Partnerships and Explores New Development Opportunities
To identify new cooperation partners, innovative solutions, and development opportunities, Deputy CEO of the Liepaja SEZ Authority, Elans Strazdiņš, and Head of the Business and Development Department, Raivo Špaks, participated in one of the world's leading exhibitions for project cargo, bulk cargo, and oversized freight logistics - Breakbulk Europe 2026, held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 16 to 18 June.
For the fourth consecutive time, Latvian ports and industry companies participated in the exhibition under the unified industry brand VIA LATVIA. The event is regarded as one of the most important networking and business development platforms in the global logistics sector.
The exhibition brought together more than 11,000 industry professionals from over 120 countries, including representatives of ports, shipping companies, logistics service providers, industrial manufacturers, and infrastructure project developers.
The key themes of the event included the transportation of heavy and oversized cargo, supply chain digitalization, sustainability, and international cooperation.
