12.10.2023.The flow of grain and RO-RO cargoes is still stable and, as winter approaches, the cargoes of renewable energy resources traditionally increase, incl. wood chips. Likewise, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone Authority continues to collaborate with entrepreneurs and attract new cargo groups, incl. those from the Central Asian countries.

20.09.2023.Today, on September 20, at the seminar which was organized by the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) on the entrepreneurship potential of the Latvian offshore wind energy, the CEO of the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (Liepaja SEZ) Uldis Hmieļevskis presented the achievements to establish a support base in the Port of Liepaja for offshore wind energy parks in Baltic Sea and to create an industry center in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea with the required production and logistics capacity as well as the educational capacity for preparing the necessary specialists.
