On August 21, during the meeting of the Liepaja City Council, eight new street names were approved for the planned streets in the territory of the former “Liepajas Metalurgs” steel plant – the future Liepaja Industrial Park.

The objective of the project “Providing of safe berthing of Ro-Ro ferries in the port of Liepaja” (hereinafter in the text: Project) is to provide safe berthing of Ro-Ro ferries in the port of Liepaja, thus, strengthening TEN – T infrastructure’s capacity and enhancing internal and external markets accessibility through improved maritime transport links.

On 8 August, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Authority hosted the monthly Entrepreneurs’ Breakfast to present the newly built fish processing plant Syfud and the SEZ Authority’s ongoing projects which are aimed at developing the infrastructure which is vital for the fishing industry.

The Liepaja SEZ Authority is organizing a written auction for the lease rights of a real estate property located at Pulvera Street 29, currently under the management of the Liepaja SEZ Authority.

As part of the ongoing development of the Liepaja Industrial Park on the site of the former “Liepajas Metalurgs” steel plant, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (Liepaja SEZ) Authority has announced the first public auction of real estate. This marks the next step in engaging entrepreneurs in the revitalization and transformation of the industrial area, offering the opportunity to acquire manufacturing buildings. The auction will take place from July 29, 2025, to August 28, 2025.
